Summary[]
The Midnight Society returns with a new set of storytellers, and a terrifying new tale about a cursed seaside town that's being haunted by a mysterious figure named the Shadowman.

Trivia[]
- Malia Baker and Beatrice Kitsos were previously together in an episode of "The Baby-Sitter's Club" 2020 series.
- The season was greenlit in February 2020 with plans to shoot in the summer for a October 2020 premiere. However, COVID delayed the shoot to October, with the season airing in 2021.
- In the original scripts, Luke was a swimmer and there was a scene where the Shadowman pulled him in a pool, in an homage to The Tale of the Dead Man's Float]]. This was changed for budget reasons.
- There would have been a scene where someone visits a blog called "Dangerous Soup", a reference to The Tale of the Dangerous Soup. A nod to that episode would eventually happen in the next season.
