Beth is a character created by David. She appeared in episode "The Tale of the Lonely Ghost".
History[]
Beth is the daughter of Dottie, who works as real estate agent. She is a mean, rude, stuck up and obnoxious girl. She wasn't to psyched to find that her cousin Amanda Cameron was coming over to spend the summer. Since she thought her cousin was a geek. She was immediately rude, cold and unwelcoming to her. Then she told her cousin that in order to hang out with she and her friends, that she would have to spend a night in the abandoned house next door alone.
Later that night, she catchers her cousin who was about to introduce herself to her Nanny and start a conversation with her. Then she interrupted them. She told Amanda that she hates her nanny and wants her gone, and that she is crazy because of something that happened in the old house next door. The next morning, on her mom's way out, she rudely tells Amanda not to touch her stuff, while she is out roller skating.
Later that night, she and her friends take Amanda to the house and explain the legend behind the supposed haunting: Years ago, a little girl lived in that house and was constantly taunted by the other kids because she couldn't speak. One day, her mother found out that her overseas husband was sick. The mother sent her daughter to her grandmother's house while she went away to help him. But while the girl was walking, she was approached by mean kids. They chased her back home and locked her inside her bedroom. Unable to contact anyone, the girl died of starvation, and is now said to haunt the place as a ghost.
She and her friends tell Amanda that she needs to spend the entire night in the little girl's bedroom. Also that it is the initiation for joining their club, and that they all had to do it. She and her friends remind her, that they'll know if she's still there, by shining a flashlight at the window all night long. Amanda reluctantly took up the challenge, and slowly headed off to enter the house. Afterwards she her friends all huddled together and started laughing over that fact that Amanda believed this initiation was real, and that all really did it. Then she and her friends all ran off laughing.
She spent the night over at her friend Sally's house. So she wasn't aware that when her cousin entered the little girl's bedroom, she actually saw the little girl's ghost. Then her cousin ran home terrified. when her mom got home, Amanda told her everything that happened. Her mom got really mad at her for being so mean to her cousin.
The next morning, her mom gave she and her cousin buckets of soapy water. It turns out someone had written all over the walls in the bedroom next door. So she and her cousin were being punished by cleaning them. When she and her cousin arrived to the bedroom, they were surprised to find in backwards words that read: "Help Me's written all over the walls. She was furious with her cousin, believing that she did it on purpose to get her in trouble. Then she calls her cousin a chicken and a snitch. Then she tells her she wasn't going to let her into her club anyways.
Then the mirror magically changes into portal from the time period of the ghost. She then got hypnotized by the mass size of the girl's doll and stuffed animal collection. Then she slowly walked in to play with the toys and vanished. Then the ghost of the little girl walked out in her place.
Soon her cousin realized that the ghost was harmless. All the ghost wanted was to see Nanny. The ghost gave her cousin an old locket that revealed the little girl was Nanny's daughter many years ago. The Lonely Ghost trusted her cousin and opened the door. Then her cousin ran out to get Nanny while she was still trapped in the mirror. She was translucently appeared in it pounding and yelling for her cousin to let her out.
Her cousin found Nanny, just as she was on her way out to go to a nursing home. Her cousin begged for her to go with her to the house. As they enter the bedroom the Lonely Ghost was ecstatic to finally see her mother again. The ghost approached Nanny while smiling with open arms. Nanny was shocked to see her daughter again after all this time, apologizing for not knowing she was still here. The ghost then asked her mother in sign language to go with her through the mirror. Nanny happily agreed, and they entered the mirror together. The two entered the portal and were taken back to the original time period that they used to live in.
Then the portal closed, and it converted back to a wardrobe mirror. She was still stuck inside of it and she begged her cousin to let her out. Beth's friends also arrived. They found it amusing to see that she got herself trapped inside a wardrobe. The friends agree with her cousin to only let her out on the condition that she won't be mean and bossy anymore. She promised, so Amanda let her out. Then Sally told her that they were going to have to make some changes in their group. Amanda soon became the group leader and even let her stay in the group.
