History[]

Craig is reckless and irresponsible person, who often gets himself into trouble. Although, he often caused his trustworthy and responsible friend Justin grief and problems, they had been best friends since kindergarten. So being friends for such a long time, Justin was able to put up with it. He and his friend Justin are also skilled mechanics. He and his friend are capable of tuning up and repairing vehicles.

One night, he borrowed Justin's mother's car. It was an old 1978 model car. He drove over to a local hangout called: The Shop-n-Drop where he met with a girl named: Ronnie and he began to socialize with her for a while. Meanwhile he went over to a fast food restaurant and drove too close to the the drive through window. So he accidentally broke off the left side-view mirror. When he finally returned the vehicle to Justin, Justin was furious that he had been talking to Ronnie. Since Justin had a crush on this girl. However Justin was too shy to ask her out. He assured him that he knew how much he liked her. So they were only talking as friends. Then when Justin found out that he broke off the side-view mirror, Justin was stressed and worried sick that his mom was going to furious. First he suggested parking it against the wall. So Justin's mom wouldn't notice. Justin was tense. Since his mom would notice eventually. Then he suggested that they go to the junkyard the next day to find him a new mirror. Hearing this, it gave Justin a sigh of relief.

The next day, he and Justin checked out broken and written off vehicles at the junkyard. He then pointed out a good potential replacement on a broken down 1976 car. However, Justin had a vast knowledge on vehicles. So Justin told him that his mom would notice the different. This is because, Justin's mom's car was a 1978. The side view mirrors on them are more rounded then they are on a 1976. Observing the damaged and broken cars, he became a little amazed. He stated that it was almost refined to get wrecked so bad. So he could almost picture the sounds of the damage that happened. When continuing to look around, another person watched them from nearby.

Then he joked about trying to find the nastiest wrecked car in the yard. Justin asked him to be serious, because he needed to find a new mirror soon or his mom would be furious with him. Then he teased him about why he enjoyed driving that old vehicle. Then he told him that he needed a cooler vehicle. One that had power and made a statement. Then the person who watching them called out to them. He pointed out an old broken car. The vehicle was a broken down red 1969 Pontiac GTO. The person was nicknamed Bulldog. Bulldog informed him that the owner of the junkyard believed the car to be broken. However the junkyard owner does not realize how good the engine still was. Bulldog said that he cannot buy it because he got his driver's license revoked. Sensing that he was rebellious, Bulldog encouraged him to buy it and fix it up. He was thrilled, because it was the right kind of vehicle to make a statement for him. So he went inside to buy it from the owner.

He and Justin repaired the vehicles themselves, in his garage. Then soon enough, the old Pontiac GTO was repaired like new and beautifully restored. He was about to take it off for a spin, when Tony stopped by to deliver Justin a 1978 mirror. Justin was thrilled and relieved, because now his mom wouldn't notice. Tony was amazed by the car. He complimented them on the great job they did fixing it. Craig nodded and he was excited stating that he just couldn't wait to take out for a spin. Then his mom screamed out to him. It turned out his mom was furious because she just found his poor report card. So now he wouldn't be able to drive it just yet.

Then a day or so later, Justin passed by his house. He revealed that he was still grounded for his poor report card. However since his mom was at work, she wouldn't know if he sneaked out for a little ride. Justin, didn't think it was a good idea to drive the Pontiac because it wasn't registered yet. Then he taunted and persuaded him to join him for the ride. After he said that he would drive over the Shop-n-Drop to impress Ronnie.

Driving down the road, Justin warned him to be cautious driving through the fog. Suddenly the car's radio played nothing but old retro surf music. When they arrived at the Shop-n-Drop, they were both puzzled. The building seemed to have been repainted and restored like new. The other day it was an old and worn out. Inside the restaurant, Bulldog called out to them. Bulldog told them that he had a feeling that they would be coming by. Bulldog then called out to a Trucker. Bulldog taunted him telling him that he and Justin were the new drivers now. The Trucker, was a big tall and intimidating man. He seemed very short-tempered and serious. He told The Trucker, that they were the drivers of the car now. The Trucker told them to stay out of his way, and he would see them on Highway 13. Justin quickly grabbed him and they ran off, before they could get beaten up.

He and Justin then decided to just go home. Then on their way out, The Trucker began to tail them. When on the road, he realized that he missed a turn and they were now on highway 13. The Trucker began chasing after them in hot pursuit. He and Justin were both terrified and panicked. Just by chance he went another lane and cut him off. Then Suddenly much to their annoyance, they found themselves back in the past at the old Shop-N-Drop truck stop.

Inside the building, they were terrified. So they tried to call the police. But the phone didn't work. He told Bulldog, that The Trucker was after them. Bulldog just smirked saying that the phone would not work. But it was just a little race. All they needed to do was beat the Trucker to the end of the Bridge on Highway 13. Then they could all go home. They were both shocked to hear this. Then Tony came in furious with Bulldog. Tony told Bulldog that he never should have gotten them involved. Bulldog in a smart Alec tone, said that Tony doesn't have the guts. So he found someone whom he thinks does and it is he.

Bulldog explained that his pal Tony had the coolest Monster car around, but never had a chance to show it off. Then one day Bulldog got The Trucker mad at them. The next thing they knew, The Trucker was chasing them down Highway 13. They both ended up racing for the bridge at the end of it; side to side. But the bridge was too small. Therefore it was only wide enough for one vehicle to pass through at time. Bulldog kept asking Tony to hit the speed and pass The Trucker, because they could have won the race. Then Tony got too scared to speed ahead of the big dump truck. Then soon both vehicles crashed into the bridge in a huge accident, and they all died. Everyday since 1969, at the exact same time, Tony and Bulldog are forced to race The Trucker again. And the same thing always happens.

He and Justin were shocked to realize that they were all ghosts. Bulldog could see the rebellious potential in him. So he had a feeling that he can beat The Trucker. Then they could all be free and go home. Justin tried the phone again, and heard nothing but a horn honking. They tried to run out the backdoor, but the Truck was there honking at them. They are told, that it won't go away until they race him. Justin still wanted to run away. He however wanted to just win the race and get it over. So he drove off in the car.

Driving along Highway 13, he realized that he just needed to make it to the bridge and they could all go home. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, Tony and Bulldog appeared in the backseats. With their motivation, he cranked up the speed and cut past The Trucker getting into the lead. Bulldog got full of excitement and enthusiasm. He stated that the moment he saw The Trucker, he knew they could beat him. Hearing this, he got mad. So he asked him if the race was actually his idea. Tony answered him saying it was all Bulldog's idea. Bulldog went after the Trucker, challenged him and made him chase them. The Trucker was never at fault. It was all their fault instead.

Hearing this, he stepped on the breaks and forfeited. This allowed The Trucker to pass ahead winning the race. When entering the bridge, the dump truck vanished in a flash. When they got out of the car, Bulldog was upset. Bulldog complained saying that he blew it, and they could have won. So after all these years they lost. He told him that they never should have raced in the first place, and either way it was over now. Tony applauded him shaking his hand. He thanked him for having the courage to do the right thing. Which was what he should have done in the first place years ago. Then he said that the car was too hot to handle. So he gave the keys back to Tony. Tony was thrilled to have his car back. Then Tony and Bulldog drove off to locations unknown. Then they vanished away in a flash.

Then he met back with Justin at the Truck stop. He explained that he lost, but he felt great anyways. Suddenly, they both froze in fear as the dump truck approached. The Trucker began to speak to them. Now he revealed himself to actually be quite friendly. He told them that the last thing he wanted to do was race. Then he thanked them for letting him get home. Then the Trucker's ghost vehicle vanishes away to locations unknown.

Then afterwards, back in the present they were still both shocked that it was all Bulldog and Tony's fault, not The Trucker's. He then revealed to Justin that he was talking to Ronnie about him and she thinks that he's cute. Justin was thrilled to hear this, and wanted to know if she would go out with him, but he wouldn't tell him. He told him that he needed to figure that out on his own.
