Louise Lam is a character created by Betty Ann. She appeared in the episode "The Tale of the Whispering Walls".

History[]

Louise is the frequent babysitter of the Dickens' children: Claire and an Andrew. On February 29th one leap year, she took Claire and Andrew on a fun outing to the Playland Amusement Park. She and the children had a wonderful time, but still she was having trouble from keeping the children from arguing with each other.

On the way home, she promised the two kids if they behaved, she would take them over to her friend Molly's house. Her friend Molly would regularly make the kids banana splits. When she mentioned this would be happening, they immediately begun to behave and obey her.

Then suddenly, she couldn't find the right direction and she read the wrong highway sign. This lead her to driving her and the kids to an old house called "The Whisper Inn". Next she couldn't get her car to start. So she and the kids went inside to ask for directions. The man inside was Master Raymond. He wasn't very helpful and he just seem to lead her in circles back to the Whisper Inn. Then she told the kids to wait in the car, while she went back inside to use the telephone.

She soon found out that the Whisper Inn was an evil spiritual house. One that was owned and operated by Master Raymond. Also the house was kept alive by abducting living souls, and binding them to living inside the walls. This can only happen every four years on a February 29th, and if there will be a full moon. Also during the February 29th daytime, the spirts binded to the inn can freely move around in the Inn, but cannot leave.

Master Raymond soon captured her and binded her soul to live in the walls. Also knowing that the children would obey her, Master Raymond transformed in her and waited for them to find her, and he could deceive them.

When the children, finally came in looking for her, what they first found was a room with a table full of yummy looking banana splits. At first they thought she just threw them a surprise party. Unfortunately, the banana splits were laced with acid, and luckily the children found this out before eating them.

Soon the children found what appeared to be her, she was inside a nursery cuddling a baby. Thinking it was really her, the children trusted her and came closer. Then she tried to get the children to hold the baby themselves. But seeing a ruby ring on her hand, they suddenly knew it was Master Raymond in disguise. So the children thankfully backed away in time when a venomous snake was thrown at them!

The children soon found her, sleeping on a chair. Master Raymond appeared next to her saying that soon the moon would be full and her soul would be his forever. Then Andrew smashed a nearby window and blew Master Raymond away with wind that came gusting in.

She and the children almost made it to the front door, but Master Raymond stopped them and captured her and the kids and proceeded to place then into a trance. Then suddenly, the elegant lady spirit Violet appeared. She felt compassionate because the Dickens' children were so young, and they reminded her of her daughter Jane. So Violet opened the front door and Master Raymond temporarily vanished from a gust of wind.

So she quickly took the children back to her car, she started it up. Then she drove away and never looked back.
