Biography[]
Ross Hull, was born on August 25, 1975 in Montreal, Canada.
He portrayed the role of The Midnight Society member and founder/leader Gary. He didn't return for the revival of the show in Season 6 , but he made a special appearance as Gary in the Season 7 premiere special "The Tale of the Silver Sight" He also voiced his character for the audio cassette book series Are You Afraid of the Dark?: More Tales From The Midnight Society, the interactive audio cassette Are You Afraid of the Dark? Tale of the Phantom Manor and the video game Are You Afraid of the Dark?: The Tale of Orpheo's Curse.
Outside of his work in the franchise, he also had a recurring role in Laura Bertram's starring show Ready or Not and also had a lead role as Chris Sheppard in the television show Student Bodies.

- After the first season, Ross Hull had to take the lenses out of his glasses because it was catching the reflection of the studio lights.
- In the earliest stages of production of the show, he was originally cast to portray Midnight Society Member David. Before finalizing the show, and filming the pilot, he switched to the role of Gary.
